The Screenwriting Workshop Series is an innovative six-week workshop where students will become familiar with all of the various elements of screenwriting, including format, theme, story, structure, setting, subplots, character, dialogue, and writing visually so that your reader doesn’t read your script, but watches your movie unfold on the page. Through lectures, discussions, at-home assignments and in-class readings, you’ll develop a complete outline for a feature film, and have your first pages written by the end of the course. We’ll also discuss both the business of Hollywood, and how to make your own independent films.
